World Cup Qualifier: We Must Be Focused Against South Africa - Ndidi

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has stated that the team must be focused on beating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Leicester City star returned to the team after missing the 2023 African Cup of Nations due to injury.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have just 2 points from the first two games and they are placed 3rd in the group.

While speaking to the Punch correspondent, Ndidi said the team is under pressure to win the tie 

" If we are honest to ourselves, I think the team is under pressure (to win). 

"We drew both games, they were difficult games. If we had won both games, it would have been much better going to these.

"All the same, it's football and I think the pressure that comes with this one is exciting because we know what we have to do, we know we have to try and win.

"So, I think we just need to stay focused and do our best and then try to win the games", he said.
