World Cup Qualifiers: Time, Venue For Zimbabwe First Training Session Revealed

Ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the venue and time for the Zimbabwean first training session has been revealed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the team's Liaison Officer, Edidiong Stephen, they will hold their first training session on Sunday at 10am at the practice pitch of Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo.

Recall that at about 3:25pm on Saturday, March 22, the Zimbabwean delegation to Nigeria safely touched down at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo.

The 45-man delegation, led by the Vice President of the Zimbabwe Football Association, Mr Kennedy Ndebele, was received by the Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Football Association, Mr Samuel Umoh, and some officials of the NFF.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 CAF Zone Group-C qualification match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria is billed for Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Tuesday, March 25.
