World Powerlifting: Governor Congratulates Janet Pam For Emerging Overall Best

Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has joined numerous admirers, well-wishers, and associates in congratulating Janet Pam on her outstanding feat as the Overall Best powerlifter at the 2025 World Masters Powerlifting Championships Women’s M2 84kg category, held in Cape Town, South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

In a congratulatory message, signed by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs, Governor Mutfwang described Pam as a thoroughbred, hardworking, and resilient Plateau woman who continues to bring honour to the State and the nation through her dedication to excellence in sports.

The Governor extolled Pam’s sterling qualities, noting that she has once again demonstrated her passion, discipline, and patriotism, though a proud Nigerian but represented the Great Britain at the competition. 

He described her as an accomplished powerlifter and a shining example of what determination and perseverance can achieve.

Governor Mutfwang further noted that Pam, wife of Ishaku Pam, and a native of Fan District in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, is a worthy daughter of Plateau State whose exploits in powerlifting continue to inspire younger generations and project the State’s image positively around the world.

He also lauded her humility, wisdom, and visionary spirit, describing her as a model of excellence and leadership whose life embodies the ideals of love, unity, and selfless service to humanity.
