World Rugby Lists Nigeria As One Of The Fastest Growing Nations

World Rugby has listed Nigeria as one of the fastest-growing nations in the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria, until last year, was under a ban by World Rugby over governmental interference before the President, Dr Ademola Are took step to ensure that the ban is lifted.

Since then the federation has organized two referees and coaching programs to keep the stakeholders abreast of the rules and training tactics of the game.  

The senior men's national team, the Black Stallions, has qualified for the final phase of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualification starting this weekend in Zimbabwe.

Other growing nations listed include Belgium, Singapore, Ghana and Zambia.
