Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo has shared his thoughts on Victor Boniface’s imminent transfer to Italian giants AC Milan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Following an agreement between both clubs, the Nigerian striker is set to complete his move from Bayer Leverkusen to the Serie A side.
Speaking with Afrik-foot, Yobo expressed strong support for the move, stressing that Boniface has all it takes to thrive at the San Siro.
“This move is perfect and represents a huge step forward for Victor. Milan is a club with a rich history, huge expectations, and passionate fans. It’s exactly the kind of environment that can push him to become an even better player".
"He has the strength, intelligence, and finishing ability to shine in Italy. What impresses me most about him is his hunger for victory and determination. Milan will give him every opportunity, and I am convinced he will deliver,” Yobo said.
Boniface, however, still has a valid contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028.
