Zaidu Sanusi helps FC Porto edge closer to winning League title after 4-2 victory

Super Eagles of Nigeria star Zaidu Sanusi was in action for FC Porto of Portugal on Saturday night as they defeated Vizela FC 4-2 at Estadio do Dragao, to edge closer to winning this season's League title, BSNSports com.ng reports.



The former Santa Clara FC defender retained his spot in the home team's first eleven, following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous matches, and he was able to impress in the game.


The Nigerian international started in FC Porto's defence line alongside Chancel Mbemba and former Real Madrid football club star Pepe and they were all outstanding in the game.


Brazilian star Evanilson scored the first goal of the game in the 21st minutes, and Mehdi Taremi doubled the lead in the 27th minutes, before Alex Mendez scored for the away team in the 36th minutes to end the first time 2-1.


Nuno Moreira equalized for the away team in the 49th minutes, and Chancel Mbemba made it 3-2 before Mehdi Taremi scored the last goal of the game in the 87th minutes to end the match 4-2.


Zaidu Sanusi was impressive for the home team in the game, and he was able to play a vital role in their deserved victory.


The victory over Vizela FC has now taken FC Porto to the top spot of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table with 85 points from 32 matches played, and they only need a draw in their next League giants to win the title.
