Zambia Arrive Morocco, To Earn $21,000 If They Win 2022 AWCON

With almost two weeks to the kick-off of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations, Copper Queens of Zambia have landed in Rabat Morocco venue of the championship, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The team which will be appearing in the competition for the third time in their history departs Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on Wednesday evening and have their eyes fixed on winning the title.

Football Association of Zambia confirmed before their departure that each player will earn $21,000 if they emerge champion of the competition.

According to the break down, coach Bruce Mwape’s girls will be entitled to a $3,000 bonus each for victories secured in the group stage, then a win in the quarter-final will earn them $3,500, $4,000 for the semi-final and $5,000 for a win in the final.

The Copper Queens are in Group B alongside Cameroon, Tunisia and Togo.
