AAG fallout: Olatoye set to lose medal

If the reports coming from IAAF is to be taken serious, BSNSports.com.ng can report that Nigeria's Hammers and Shot put thrower, Sade Olatoye will be stripped of the medals she won at the 2019 African Games in Rabat Morocco.

BSN Sports reports that Olatoye earlier in the year switched allegiance to Nigeria from USA and won for the country Gold and Silver medals in Rabat, Morocco.

She was among the athletes that represent Nigeria at the Athletics championship in Doha, Qatar.

"Nigeria's Sade Olatoye will be stripped of her GOLD & Silver medals from the African Games in Morocco, because she was not cleared by IAAF's Nationality Review Panel to switch allegiance, thereby annulling all her results. Olatoye was born in USA, but opted to represent Nigeria." A tweet on making of champions official twitter reads.

The report has it that Olatoye was not properly cleared by IAAF Nationality Review Panel on her allegiance switch.

The outcomes means that all her results both in Rabat and Doha 2019 will be annulled .

Olatoye was born in the US but opted to represent Nigeria.
