Aaron Samuel lifts Changchun Yatai back to Chinese Super League

Aaron Samuel is back in the Chinese Super League with Changchun Yatai after he scored his fourth goal for them to win 3-0 in a decisive promotion playoff game at Chengdu Better City.

He netted his team’s third goal four minutes from the interval

Changchun Yatai thus topped the promotion playoffs with 13 points from five matches, three points clear of their closest rivals. Incidentally, the club were relegated from the Chinese Super League two seasons ago despite the goals of another Nigeria striker, Odion Ighalo. Big striker Samuel, 26, last played in the Chinese top flight four years ago with Guangzhou R&F.
