ABAKALIKI BUBBLES FOR SOUTH EAST/SOUTH SOUTH PRESEASON TOURNAMENT By Admin All is now set for the commencement of the second edition of the South East /South South preseason tournament holding at the Pa Oruta Township Stadium Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The tournament runs from 4th to 10th November 2018. The tournament which is specifically organized to prepare teams in the two regions for the new football season will see four premiership clubs and four non premiership clubs slugging out for the coveted trophy. According to the Coordinator of the Program, Patrick Ngwaogu, teams expected for the tourney are defending Champions FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi, Rivers United of Port Harcourt, Abia Warriors of Umuahia, Heartland FC of Owerri, Cynosure FC of Abakaliki, Ebonyi Professionals of Abakaliki, SKE FC of Port Harcourt and Patriots FC of Enugu. He said that over 500 footballers, officials, journalists are expected to storm Abakaliki to participate in the week long tournament Ngwaogu said "the draws of the tournament will hold on Saturday evening when all the teams must have arrived. Matches will begin on Sunday 4th November. Three matches are expected to be played on daily basis.
