Abdoulaye Dabo has equalled the record for the youngest Nantes player to make a Ligue 1 debut. The midfielder was handed a starter’s role in the Canaries’ 3-1 defeat to AS Monaco on Saturday, making his debut at the age of 17 years and five months. That equals the record set by Cameroon football great, Salomon Olembe in 1998, who made his bow for the Nantes based outfit at the same age.
