Abdullahi launches own academy in Sokoto State.

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has joined the growing lists of Nigeria footballers who have established football academies across the country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Bursaspor of Turkey player unveiled his academy on Friday morning alongside his foundation that is presently established in Sokoto State.

Injury hampered Abdullahi from playing games for Super Eagles at the just concluded African Cup of Nations after the opening game against Burundi.

Apart from Abdullahi, winger Moses Simon also started his own academy in Kaduna during the week.

Former Kano Pillars defender will play in the second division of Turkish league this season except he moves out of the club as Bursaspor suffered relegation last season.
