Abdullahi Maigwandu Elected As FCT Handball Referee Council Chairman

ABDULLAHI MAIGWANDU ELECTED FCT HANDBALL REFEREES COUNCIL CHAIRMAN………………. By Admin Mallam Abdullahi Maigwandu has been elected the FCT Handball Referees council chairman. Maigwandu who pull a total of 18 votes out of the 18 casted to defeat his co contestant Miss Bose was elected to head the affairs of FCT Handball Referees. Announcing the result the electoral committee secretary Mr. Iyiola Ogundele said: "Having secured a total vote of 18 delegates, I hereby announce Mallam Abdullahi Maigwandu the newly elected chairman FCT Handball Referees Council." Certificate was presented to the newly elected chairman and other candidate that emerged winners. Miss Godiya Jezhi, became the winner of the vice chairman position after securing the same number of votes 18/18 to defeat Mr. Augustine Sunday. Other position that was contested for were the post of secretary general and that of welfare officer which Mr. Ewaoche Benjamin and Comrade Charlse Inaya were elected respectively. AMOS - PRO While congratulating the newly executives the chairperson of FCT Handball Association and also a board member at the Handball Federation of Nigeria representing north central Mrs. Halima Benjamin urge the elected executives to run a government of all, carrying all members together irrespective of their different view during the election period. She said seven (7) days grace has been given to any person with complaint to write his or her petition if not satisfy with the election process. The election took place at the conference room of the FCT sports council, area 3 Garki Abuja at 4pm, Wednesday May 8, 2019.
