Abdullahi Returns To Cyprus

After mutual termination of his contract with Turkish side Bursaspor, Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi has staged a return to Cyprus premier league with Omonia Nicosia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abdullahi moved to Turkey in 2018 after a successful stints with Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus where he helped the club to win domestic titles.

He terminated his deal with Bursaspor this summer after the club failed to secure a promotion back to the Super Lig.

He has signed a year deal with his new club and is expected to play an active role in the new season.

Abdullahi was part of the Super Eagles team to Russia 2018 World Cup and 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt.
