Abia Warriors Appoints New Sporting Director, Media Officer

Nigeria Professional Football League side, Abia Warriors will fight to pick one of the four tickets in the CAF competitions when the 2019/20 league commences.

In recent time, Abia Warriors have been struggling in the league as well as the Federation hence, their inability to pick continental tickets to represent Nigeria at the CAF organised African clubs competition.

Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia on Friday appointed Patrick Ngwaogu as the new Sporting Director of the Club.

Patrick new position at the club will reposition the team as he is determined to work with the management to put the clubs map on the continent.

In a major reorganization announced by the club management on Friday, also appointed is Chigozie Nwosu a new Media Officer of the team. Chigozie takes over from Igwe Onuoha who was appointed as the new General Coordinator of the Abia warriors Academy.

Ngwaogu, a graduate of the University of Ibadan was until recently the team's Match Reader and Assistant Coach. An NIS graduate and CAF license Coach. He is a veteran sports journalist. He was the immediate past Vice Chairman of FCT Football Association While Nwosu Chigozie a graduate of Abia state university has been with the Club Media Department for three seasons.
