Abia Warrior Get Sunday Adetunji Boost Ahead of Rivers Utd Clash

Abia warriors forward Sunday Adetunji is declared fit by the club doctor and ready to start the NPFL match-day 19 game against Rivers United this weekend BSN reports.
Adetunji who injured his wrist after he scored a brace in the 2016/17 NPFL match against Lobi of Makurdi mentally and physically ready to start the home game against Rivers united.
The former Shooting Stars of Ibadan forward resumed training about five weeks ago since he sustained the injury toward the end of 2016/17 NPFL season due to injury lay-off which disallowed him to be part of CHAN Eagles to Morroco, thus, handed a boost ahead of Abia Warriors tie against Rivers United.
Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng, excited Adetunji said: "I happy to be back to the team, it is not easy to stay out of action for long but in all i give glory to God. I am declared fit by the team doctor and physically and mentally ready for the home tie against Rivers United. Rivers United are good side but i am positive that we are going to win that match."
Rivers united occupied the fourth position on the NPFL log table with 27 points from 18 matches. Rivers united have lost just one match in the last five games, won 3 and drew 1.
Abia warriors on the other hand, are on the 12th position with 22 points from 18 matches and have not lost any game in their last 7 matches. Having won 5 and drew 2 games.
