Abia Warriors Issue Strong Warning To Kano Pillars Over Enaholo
Abia Warriors have issued another strong worded warning letter to Kano Pillars, asking them to discontinue their interest in former Flying Eagles goalkeeper, Joshua Enaholo or at best follow due process in securing his transfer.
Enaholo had moved to the Sai Masu Gida side during the summer transfer window, but Warriors say Pillars have not followed due transfer process, having not contacted them over the availability of the player.
The Umuahia side claimed the player still has valid contract with them and wondered why Pillars are keeping him in their camp and even contemplating registering him for the new season.
Completesports.com understands that pursuant to justice and professional transfer procedure, Abia Warriors had earlier communicated their Pillars counterparts on the matter.
And on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, Warriors dispatched another strong worded reminder letter to Pillars on the same issue, warning they should desist from any attempt, in whatever guise, to register Enaholo for the new season.
In the reminder letter signed by Patrick Ngwaogu, Sporting Director of Abia Warriors and sent to Kano Pillars, Warriors frowned at what they described as ‘the nonchalant and unprofessional attitude’ being exhibited by Kano Pillars as regards the player’s transfer despite their several letters to them as regards the status of the goalkeeper.
“Yet Kano Pillars unprofessionally decided to keep the player in their camp and are understood to even planning to go ahead to register him with ‘falsified’ documents”, the letter to Kano Pillars sighted by Completesports.com read in part.
“We strongly express our shock and disgust that this is going on despite the fact that the player is still drawing his salaries from Abia Warriors.”
The club also revealed that they have communicated the League Management Company LMC) and the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) alerting them that player has not been cleared for any club.
“We’ve not cleared Enaholo to any team in Nigeria or outside,” Abia Warriors declared.
