Abuja Agogs As ADYAN Launches New Jersey, Set For Inter-Branch Football Competition By Niyi Busari The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was in jubilation as Ansar-Ud-Deen Youth Association of Nigeria (ADYAN) Abuja Zone launched its football jersey on Saturday, July 31. The launching which was conducted online was attended by over 250 members to set the ball rolling ahead of the Inter Branch competition that will take place in Jos. The football tourney will commence on August 13 where various Ansar-Ud-Deen Youth branches are expected to vie for a trophy, it is organised for youth in Islamic religion to exercise their body and preach peace and unity among Nigerians. Elated Aliyu Ilias, the Abuja Branch Zone Chairman thanked all that contributed for the success of the kits launching which attracted commendations amongst the members across the Ansar-Ud-deen Nothern State Council. "Permit me to seize this opportunity to thank those who contributed to the success of the launching of the jersey. We can't thank enough. They did a great job in making it a success. We look forward to participating in the upcoming Inter-branch and zonal football competition." Also speaking, Olumo Yusuf, the Sport Secretary is optimistic that the Abuja zone will share the pitch with other Zone and the Northern State Council in Jos during the International Youth Day
