AC Milan and AS Roma played out an entertaining 3-3 draw in Serie A on Monday night.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued with his good run in front of goal with a brace, but it wasn't enough against a free-scoring Roma.
Stefan Pioli's men went into the match with a 100% percent record, and they ensured it was intact after 90 minutes.
They got off to a perfect start as Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave them a third-minute goal, latching on to a well-taken Rafael Leao cross to poke home from close range.
The visitors however got a foothold in the game and almost equalized in the 10th minute, after Edin Dzeko made a good run into the box, but he was restricted to a deflected shot with the resulting ball going out for a corner.
It was however all square in the 15th minute as Dzekoheaded home a Lorenzo Pellegrini corner ball, easily beating the keeper, who was way off his line.
Milan then took the lead once again two minutes after the restart, with Alexis Saelemaekers showing good composure inside the box to fire a first-time shot inside the left post.
The visitors threatened twice, with Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming close, but they could not turn half-chances into goals.
They however gt the chance to equalize from the spot in the 72nd minute after Ismael Bennacer made a sliding tackle inside the box.
Jordan Veretout scored the resulting penalty to level matters, but only for seven minutes as the hosts regained their lead from the spot as well.
Gianluca Mancini committed a foul inside the box, and the referee did not hesitate to point to the spot, with Ibrahimovic completing his brace with a well-taken strike.
Marash Kumbulla however scored the equalizer with five minutes to go, as he sneaked the ball past the keeper from a corner ball.
Both teams failed to find the winner and settled for a draw, with Milan losing their perfect start to the season.
