Accountant Replaces Ilechukwu As Heartland FC Head Coach

In a bid to proper reorganized it’s state owned Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team Heartland, the Imo State Commissioner for Sports have directed the Accountant of the club, Emma Oparanozie to take charge until a substantive General Manager comes on board.
BuwaNews scooped that, Oparanozie first task was to direct all the club’s vehicle divers to sit up or quit following the non-challant attitude they have showed in the handling of the vehicles in the past.
“I am directed by the Honourable Commissioner for Sports to inform all the drivers of Heartland FC to make sure they take care of their vehicles before they get faulty or they will bear the consequences if they derail,” says Oparanozie.
In another development, reports has it that all management staff of Naze Millionaires have handed over all properties in their possession as directed by the State Government few weeks ago.
A letter dated July 23rd, 2020 and addressed to the Chairman of club, Mr Godson Onyemobi, had ordered the management team to handover everything belonging to the club which was in their possession.
Recall the Imo State Government, led Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma is still owing players of the club an outstanding salaries.
Heartland were placed 13th on the NPFL log with 32 points from 25 games before the 2019-2020 season was declared concluded due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
