Ademola Lookman Gets 'Relegation Escape' As Condition For Fulham Stay

Ademola
Fulham of England winger, Ademola Lookman has received a step condition of saving the club from relegation in the English Premier League for him to get a full contract with The Cottagers, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Nigerian-born dazzler is currently on loan at the London-based side RB Leipzig of Germany but, having rediscovered top form since making the switch in the summer, the former Everton of England ace is seriously hinting about getting a full contract at Craven Cottage. However, Lookman, as well as Ola Aina, who is on loan from AS Torino of Italy, and Josh Maja from Girondins-Bordeaux of France, have been hinted that they would only get full contracts with the team if they help the side beat the drop at the end of this season. A report by British tabloid, The Sun UK, Fulham hope to convince Lookman, Maja, Aina and five other loan players to stay provided they escape relegation, but their chances look to be slim, with ten games left to end the campaign. Scott Parker’s side are still battling in relegation zone, with only goals difference separating them from the same number of points with Brighton & Hove Albion, who are 17th on the table, thereby raising doubt about their ability to keep, who arrived on loan last summer. While no purchase clause was included into the deal that took Lookman to Craven Cottage, there is an option to buy Aina at €12.5m, while Fulham will have to shell out ten million euro for Maja. Lookman has been Fulham’s most decisive player in the Premier League this term, with a goal involvement of seven in 25 appearances, while Aina and Maja have emerged as key players for the squad as well, after starting the last six matches and the striker from Bordeaux has two goals.
