AFCON 2019: I always give my best for Nigeria

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has stated that he always give his best and will continue to do so anytime he put on Nigeria Jersey.

Al Nasr striker who was Nigeria shinning light at Russia 2018 World Cup made the statement while chatting with BSN Sports on Thursday in Asaba.

Musa netted twice at the World cup against Iceland which makes him Nigeria highest goalscorer at the competition.

“You all know me, that I am always ready to do well for Nigeria when I am on the pitch, I always like to score goals or make assists, but the most important thing is for the team to win matches," he stated.

Meanwhile, Musa has confirmed his readiness to make the country proud at the upcoming AFCON 2019.

Musa played active role when Nigeria's Super Eagles conquered the continent in the 2013 edition of the competition in South Africa.

“And as for the Nations Cup, I can tell you for a fact, that I am very much raring to go and give nothing but the very best of myself to see that we excel in Egypt, " he concluded.

Musa scored 7 goals for Al Nasr in the Saudi Arabia league in the just concluded season.
