Ighalo resumes training Thursday By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo is to resume training on Thursday after injury has kept him out of action, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The former Watford of England striker sustained the injury in a Chinese Super League match for his team Shanghai Shenhua. He missed the last game in which Shanghai Shenhua suffered a 1-3 defeat to Shandong Luneng. The reports from China indicated that Ighalo has been working in the gym since and is to return to field training on Thursday. His resumption will gladdened the heart of Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr as is set to open the team camp in Asaba ahead of AFCON 2019. Ighalo is the highest goal scorer in the African Nations cup qualifiers .
