AFCON 2019: Moroccan coach Renard resigns

After a not too impressive performances from the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations, Atlas Lions of Morocco coach Herve Renard has left his role, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Morocco surprisingly crashed out of the competition in the second round losing to Squirrels of Benin after an impressive play in the group game.

Renard hinted on his departure last weekend and finally making it a reality on Tuesday.

The coach refused to honour 2 years that remained on his deal but yet to reveal his destinations.

Before joining Morocco, he has worked with Ghana, Zambia and Cote d'Ivoire
