AFCON 2019: Musa thanks Nigerians, hails teammates.

After losing out in the Semifinal to Algeria at the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations, Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa has thanked Nigerians for their massive support for the team.

Nigeria lost to a last kick of the match through a free kick from Manchester city winger Riyad Mahrez and the game ended 2-1.

He also take his time to appreciate his teammates for their performance in the match and in the competition

" This is to say a massive thank you to all our supporters & well wishers during this journey.

"Not the result we wanted but we gave it our best shot. We keep fighting till the end. Proud of you mates," he wrote

Nigeria will have the opportunity to redeem it's image when they face Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the third place match on Wednesday.
