AFCON 2019 Draws: Nigeria in pot 2 By Sampson Adedeji Group E winner, Super Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in Pot 2 in the 2019 African Nations Cup draws which is slated for April 12th 2019, BSNAporta.com.ng can report. Nigeria returned to echelon of African football after missing out of the last two editions of the competition. Three time Africa champion qualified for the 2019 tournament with 13 points after they secures 4 wins, 1 draw and a loss. The pot which was released by the African football governing body indicated that Nigeria are in pot 2 alongside Morocco, Algeria, DR Congo, Mali and Guinea. Pot 1 consists of Egypt, Ghana, Tunisia, CIV, Cameroon and Senegal. Pot 3 are: Uganda, South Africa, Guinea Bissau, Zimbabwe, Angola and Burundi. While pot 4 consists: Mauritania, Namibia, Benin, Kenya, Madagascar and Tanzania. The main draw will comes up on 12th of April in Cairo Egypt.
