Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that the team will work hard against Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the third place playoff so they can finish the competition on a high note.

Nigeria lost narrowly to Desert Foxes of Algeria in the Semi Final and keep a date with Tunisia who also lost to Teranga Lions of Senegal narrowly.

" The loss to Algeria was a big disappointment especially, as we lost in the last second half.

"We have analysed the match again and we played well against probably the best team in the tourney.

"We want to finish well & it would be better to finish with a win than a loss in the final," he said

He further confirmed that the duo of Victor Osimhen and Francis Uzoho who are yet to taste action at the tournament might have their opportunity on Wednesday.

"We have used 21 players and it will be interesting to see all 23 players play.

We always take our games seriously even against Madagascar although we thought to give game time to some players.

We are well motivated to win against a Tunisia who are ranked higher than us, Rohr said.

Nigeria and Tunisia game is stated for Cairo international stadium on Wednesday.
