Super Eagles coach Gernot Roger described news on social media that he will be sacked by the Nigeria Football Federation irrespective of his performance at the 2019 African Nations Cup as rumor, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Franco-German said he is unperturbed and will not allow such unsubstantiated news distract him from the task of getting a favourable result in the Super Eagles Vs Cameroon clash that comes up later today.

The three-time African champions Nigeria will slug it out with their West African counterparts Cameroon in the quarter finals of the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The match which us scheduled for Alexandria stadium will kick off 5:00 pm (Nigerian time).
