Ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, Nigeria's Super Eagles opponent and debutant Madagascar has received a huge boost from its government, BSN Sports understands.
The government of Madagascar on Sunday motivated the team with a whooping 700,000,000 ariary ( €170,000) for the forthcoming African soccer biggest showpiece.
The money was handed over on Sunday by the country president representative HE Andry Niriana Rajoelina as the team intensify preparations for the competition.
The total budget of the team for the competition is around £1.4m and remaining fund will be from FIFA and CAF grants alongside private investors.
Madagascar will face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the last group game of the competition at the Alexandria stadium.
