AFCON 2019: Tanzania govt offers players $5000 winning bonus By Sampson Adedeji Federal government of Tanzania has promised her senior national team $5,000 as their winning bonus in their African Nations Cup qualifying match against Uganda, BSNSports.com.ng understands. In order to motivate the players, the government of Tanzania has promised Taifa Stars $5000 as winning bonus if they secure qualification ticket. Tanzania are placed second behind already qualified Cranes of Uganda whom they will host on Sunday in Dare salam. Prime Minister of the country Kasim Malijawa Kasim visited the players in camp on Saturday, where he charged the players to put in more efforts in realising the dream while also promised the cash. Taifa Stars must beat Uganda to render the outcome of the other game between Lesotho and Cape Verde purposeless. Coach of the team and former Nigeria's international Emmanuel Amuneke has urged the fans to rally behind the team in order to get the needed result.
