AFCON 2019: We respect not scared of Nigeria -Baxter

With 24 hours to the start of the quarter final of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter has declared that they are not afraid of Nigeria's Super Eagles, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria's Super Eagles will take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Cairo international stadium on Wednesday in one of the quarter final fixtures.

Baxter made the statements during a press conference held in Cairo in readiness for the match.

" Nigeria have always been one of the biggest teams on the continent. We'll respect but not fear them. We can give anyone a good game on our day," he stated.

South Africa surprisingly defeated hosts team Pharaoh of Egypt while Nigeria sent out defending champion Indomitable Lion of Cameroon in the round of 16.

The match which determines who picks the semifinal ticket between the two countries is slated for Cairo International Stadium, at 8:00 pm.
