You're the favorites, After Beating Egypt, Rohr Tells South Africa Coach

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr says Bafana Bafana of South Africa are the favourites in today's quarterfinal all important match at the ongoing 2019 African Nations Cup, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Franco-German tactician insisted that the Bafana Bafana became the favorite from the day they defeated the host, Egypt in the second round of the competition.

On the other hand, South Africa coach Stuart Baxter also referred to the Super Eagles as the favourites, saying that the Nigeria senior national team have more wins in their overall meetings than their South African counterparts in their previous matches.

However, Super Eagles have been unable to beat Bafana Bafana in their last four matches, lost to the visitors 0-2 in Nigeria and couldn't defeat them in South Africa in the 2019 African Nations Cup qualifiers.

The quarterfinal make or mar clash between the two country is scheduled for Cairo International stadium at 8:00 pm.
