AFCON 2021: "Bring Home Trophy Or Pay Back Money Invested In You" - Guinea President Orders Team Sampson Adedeji As the kick of 2021 African Cup of Nations draws closer, Guinea president Mamadi Douboumya has ordered the country's football team to either bring home the trophy or pay back the money invested in them, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Guinea government has been under military rule since the Coup De tat that ousted the elected president few months ago. Guinea is among the 24 qualified country that will participate in the competition in Cameroon and has been in camp in the past weeks. As they prepare to depart the country for Cameroon on Monday the entire team met with the president who handed the country flag to them and ordered them to bring back the title "Bring home the AFCON trophy or pay back the money invested in you", the president said. Guinea is placed in group B alongside Senegal, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
