AFCON 2021: Algeria, Ivory Coast Want Change Of Venue Sampson Adedeji The news coming from Cameroon seems not to be palatable as Desert Foxes of Algeria and Elephants of Coted'Ivoire have asked for change of venue, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Since the start of the competition Group E consisting of Algeria, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea has been housed in Japoma. They played their first two matches at the venue but the stadium seems to move from bad to worse with the final group game coming up this Thursday. Algeria and Ivory Coast supposed to have their game in Japoma and both teams have asked CAF to move their game to a better venue. The football is expected to meet later on Tuesday to finalise the decision though the organiser has swung into action to rectify the state of the pitch.
