AFCON 2021: Awaziem Eyes Great Outing

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Alanyaspor of Turkey defender, Chidozie Awaziem has set eye on achieving good outing in the forthcoming African Nations Cup in Cameroon, BSNsports.com.ng can report
The former CD Leganes of Spain defender joined his club in camp on Saturday as they intensified preparation for the competition.
While speaking to the Super Eagles media team, Awaziem hope more players joined the camp for their readiness to hit the top gear.
“It has been a wonderful atmosphere in camp. Everyone is preparing with the few players in camp. Training sessions has been good.
“Everyone is giving their best, the coach is doing a good job. We are hoping to get more players in camp , so that we can begin preparation for the AFCON properly.
“It’s the new year and everyone is positive, we believe we can achieve something great this year.” He said.
Nigeria's Super Eagles will kick off the 2021 AFCON campaign on January 11 with Egypt and trade tackles with Sudan and Guinea Bissau in the second and last group games on January 15 and 19 respectively.
