AFCON 2021: CAF Gives Deadline On Release Of Finals List Sampson Adedeji With 14 days to the commencement of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, African soccer governing has given a deadline to the participating teams on the release of the final list, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Host Cameroon, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, Ivory Coast and a few others have released their final 28 players for the competition. CAF on Sunday gives December 27th up to the 3rd of January as the deadline date for the release of final list. For the second consecutive time 24 countries will participate in the tournament slated for Cameroon. The opening match will come up between Cameroon and Burkinafaso on 9th of January at the Olembe stadium.
