AFCON 2021: Drogba, Toure Drafted Into Ivorian Team Sampson Adedeji Few days to the start of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, participating countries have continued to look for ways in which they can have a decent outing in the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Ivory Coast Football Federation has drafted the duo of Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure to the Elephants team for the preparations. The Elephants are presently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia preparing for the biennial competition. The two former internationals will work in a supervisory and psychological role for the team and they are expected to spend between 4-5 days in the team camp. The 2015 champions are in the same group as the champions Algeria, Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea.
