AFCON 2021: Ebuehi To Join Super Eagles In Cameroon Sampson Adedeji Newly invited Super Eagles defender, Tyrone Ebuehi will meet up with the rest of the team in Garoua, Cameroon, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Venezia defender was not invited initially but had to be drafted in after Omonia Nicosia defender Shehu Abdullahi was ruled out due to injury. According to the president of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick, the light-skinned player will not join the team in Nigeria but will meet up with them in Garoua. "We spoke with Ebuehi and he was excited to join the squad. “We noticed we had some lapses in the defence and we had to draft some more players in that department," Pinnick said on Arise TV. Ebuehi missed the 2019 edition in Egypt due to injury and is set for his debut in the 33rd edition of the competition.
