AFCON 2021: Eguavoen Gives Credit To The Players Over Eagles Performance Sampson Adedeji Following their 2-0 spanking of Guinea Bissau, Super Eagles coach Austine Eguavoen has given kudos to the players for the amazing performance, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Goals from Sadiq Umar and William Troost-Ekong ensured that Nigeria secured maximum 9 points in the group having won their previous two matches. While responding to questions at a post-match conference, Eguavoen praised the Guinea Bissau team but applauded his players for playing to instructions. "Exciting game, we expected a rough game. Guinea Bissau team is a pushover a very strong team physically and technically. "They gave us a run for our money but at the end of the day, we were able to get those two goals to cancel it. "We are very satisfied with the performance but credit must go to the players for executing what we told them to do, 9 points in the bag," he said.
