AFCON 2021: Egypt Arrive In Cameroon For Group D Opener Against Super Eagles Sampson Adedeji After crossing so many delays, the seven-time African champions, Pharaohs of Egypt have finally landed in Garoua, Cameroon for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Egypt encountered many issues in the past few days and covid 19 and injuries ravaged the team ahead of the tournament. Some players were dropped from the team due to injury and one of the team goalkeepers and trainers were dropped because they were tested positive for the pandemic. The team including Liverpool's Star striker, Mohammed Salah, arrived in Cameroon on Saturday and are expected to observe their first training later in the day. Their opening game will be against Nigeria's Super Eagles on Tuesday to repeat what happened between the two sides in Angola 2010.
