AFCON 2021: Eto'o Apologises For The Attack On Foreign Journalists Sampson Adedeji President of the Federation of Cameroon Football (FECAFOOT) has tendered an unreserved apology to the attacked foreign journalists, BSNsports.com.ng can report. According to the reports, foreign journalists mostly Algerians were attacked in Douala on Sunday which has generated a lot of questions about their safety in the country. While reacting to the incident, former Indomitable Lions striker apologised and urged Cameroon journalists to protect their brothers. " Our dear brother journalists, I would like to offer you our sincere apologies because some of our brothers were attacked in Douala. I humbly ask you to tell these brothers that we ask for forgiveness. It is not Cameroonian hospitality. Please ask their forgiveness and tell them that they are at home. We are going to seize our minister and all our authorities to tell them that our brothers are in our country and they must feel safe as if they were in Algiers. May God bless you and may your stay be as good as possible manners at home in Cameroon, ”he said.
