After drawing their first match Ghana needed to win against Gabon and they started the well with a well-taken goal in the 16th minute from a range through Andre Ayew. As the match was rounding off in the second half Allevinah drew the Gabonese level in the 88th minute and put the hope of Ghana qualification in jeopardy. Ghana will have to win their game against Comoros in the last match if they want to progress to the knockout round of the competition.
