AFCON 2021: Half of Gambia Team Test Positive For Coronavirus

Barely seven days to the start of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the preparations of Scorpions of Gambia, BSNsports.com.ng can report
After many tries, the Gambia national secured qualifications for the 33rd edition of the competition.
According to the update from the team camp in the Gambia, 16 of the 28 players registered for the tournament has been tested positive for the virus.
The Gambia will begin their campaign in the tournament with a tough game against Mauritania before facing Mali and tournament favourites Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the final group match.
