AFCON 2021: Joe Aribo Arrives Eagles Camp By Our Reporter Super Eagles have been boosted with the arrival of Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo. The Rangers of Scotland arrived at the camp ahead of the African Nations Cup in Cameroon. Aribo touched down on Tuesday night and joined his teammates to continue preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. The former Charlton Athletic man looks eager to play a key role for the Super Eagles who are desperate to end their Afcon trophy drought in Cameroon. His arrival swelled the number of players in camp to 24 since the exercise started on December 29. The 25-year-old is expected in action when the team have their next training session this morning. This will be Aribo’s first AFCON appearance. He made his international debut for Nigeria against Ukraine in 2019. Super Eagles will kick start their tournament against giants Egypt on Tuesday, January 11 before taking on Sudan and Guinea Bissau in the other Group D matches.
