AFCON 2021 May Suffer Yet Another Postponement Sampson Adedeji According to the report emanating from the Executive Committee of the African soccer governing body (CAF) the 2021 African Cup of Nation is set to be postponed again, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The competition was initially planned to take place in 2021 but has to be delayed due to the outbreak of coronavirus which halted sporting activities across the globe. Cameroon was supposed to have hosted Africa in 2019 but was stripped of the hosting right after failing to provide necessary facilities and infrastructures. The hosting right was given to Egypt while Cameroon was pushed to host the 2021 edition.
