AFCON 2021: Nigeria Group Opponent Suffers Defeat Sampson Adedeji In preparations for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, Sudan intensified their readiness by playing their first warm-up match on Thursday evening, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Sudanese side earlier in the week landed in Yaounde, Cameroon where the 33rd edition of the tournament will place. They engaged Ethiopia in their first warm-up game and it ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Sudanese. Amanuel Gebremichael scored twice and Shimeles Bekele netted the third goal for Ethiopia with Sudan's goal coming in between. Sudan will face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the second group game.
