AFCON 2021: Nigeria Star Set To Switch Allegiance To Malawi Sampson Adedeji As Nigeria is working hard to get its citizen born abroad to represent the Super Eagles, the country is on the verge of losing a player to Malawi, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Adepoju Babatunde is a player for Malawi premier league club Nyasa Big Bullet and has been with the club for the past 7 years. Babatunde has been able to distinguish himself to the admiration of the national team handler. After much deliberations and discussions, Babatunde has formally applied for the citizenship of Malawi and is expected to be granted. Malawi is placed in group B of the 2021 African Cup of Nations alongside Senegal, Zimbabwe and Guinea.
