AFCON 2021: Nigeria Too Hot To Handle For Us - Sudan's Coach Sampson Adedeji Following their 3-1 defeat to Nigeria's Super Eagles, coach of Sudan national team, Burhan Tia, has said that the 2013 champions are too good for them to handle, BSNsports.com.ng can report. Despite trying to play a compact game around the midfield, Sudan collapsed to the firing power of Nigeria attackers led by Taiwo Awoniyi. During a post-match conference, Tia said they gave their best but Nigeria has many quality players. “We gave our best against one of the best teams on the continent, but it wasn’t enough to guarantee us a win. "They have lot of quality players and it showed in their performance. They were too good for us. We take a lot of lessons from this defeat," he said. Sudan will play Egypt in their final group match on Wednesday.
