The Crocodile of Lesotho proved that they are not pushover when it comes to football in Africa as they held the host, Sierra Leone to a 1-1 draw in Freetown, in their first group L match of the qualification for the 2021 African Cup of Nations BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Lesotho were drawn in the same group with Serria Leone, Squirel of Benin and three-time African champions, Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The Southern African Nation proved their mettle in the match day one of the qualifier when they held their host Serria Leaone to a 1-1 in Freetown.

It was host who drew the first blood early in the game through Kwame Quee before a late equalizer from Jane Thanbants'o left the home fans unhappy at the stadium.

The draw Lesotho secured will boost their confidence as they play host to the group leaders and toughest opponent Nigeria on Sunday in Maseru.
