AFCON 2021 Qualifier May Resume In October

Reports from the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo have it that the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers may resume in October, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Match-Day Three and Four of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers earlier slated for March was halted due to outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the reports, the Africa soccer governing body is planning to resume qualifiers in the FIFA calendar dates fixed for October.

According to the fixtures, the Match-day five and six will come up in November, 2020.

The football body is also considering to play the matches under strict rules and regulations, with directives from health officers.
